Cultural Exchange

Momoishi's sister city is Kittery, Maine. As such, we have an exchange program whereby every year a class of Japanese kids goes to Maine and a class of Americans comes to Japan. Well, a group of Americans are here right now doing homestays and Charlie has actually been with them every night pretty much doing the translating.

Anyway, the head boss in our building just came into our office to show everyone the things that they brought as gifts, which were a full-sized Maine flag as well as a thermometer with a lobster on it. Everyone thought that stuff was so cool. They entire room went "WOW" when he pulled out the thermometer and my boss sucked in air between his teeth. He also just walked past my desk and complimented me on the frog that I just drew.
